Becoming a Partner

Companies with business related to Müritz National Park can apply for becoming a Partner until 28 February each year. They need to show that they fulfill certain criteria in the areas of identification, quality standards, information, cooperation and environmental orientation.

Partners identify themselves with the goals and vision of Müritz National Park and meet the necessary quality requirements, as confirmed by quality labels or certificates such as Viabono, MQM, Ecocamping or Bio-certificate. National Park Partner are distinguished by the fact that they provide up-to-date and accurate information about the Müritz National Park and that their employees are well informed about the National Park. Cooperation with the Müritz National Park Authority and other actors in the region is taken for granted for National Park Partners. Müritz National Park Partners value the use of regional products and act environmental friendly. The application form can be downloaded here.

The National Park Authority and a Jury comprised of 7 representatives from the region and the Partners will verify the fulfilment of criteria and decide about becoming a partner. The criteria will be checked every three years. Those companies officially recognised as Partners can benefit from marketing advantages such as exclusive use of the National Park Partner logo. Partners support joint marketing and quality control with a yearly fee between 100€ and 800€ according to the size of their company.
