National Park Exhibition Serrahn

If you want to get an idea of primeval forest, drive to the Serrahn part of the Müritz National Park. The small village of Serrahn, located deep in the forest, gives it its name. The multimedia exhibition "In the realm of the beech trees" shows the special features of the impressive beech forests, which have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2011.

Audio guides are available for people with visual impairments. Please contact serrahn@npa-mueritz.mvnet.de or phone 039821 / 41500 to arrange the loan of an audio guide.

Serrahn can be reached via the Forest-Discovery-Trail from Zinow (on the B198). You have to park the car in Zinow on the parking lot. From here the adventure tour to the old beech forests can start. Shortly before Serrahn, it is worth taking a detour over the swamp footbridge. Also worth seeing is the nature photography exhibition of Roman Vitt in the photo barn Serrahn.

The national park exhibition is open from April to October daily 10am to 5pm
and from November to March when the door is unlocked.

Walking distance to the exhibition in Serrahn from the parking lot Zinow: 5 km
